• Typical Scope of Services
  • Monitor the construction of compacted fill in structural areas and in utility trenches.
  • Perform in-place density tests by the sand cone or nuclear method.
  • Conduct foundation inspection and bearing capacity verifications at footing bottom.
  • Verify proper reinforcing steel placement in footings, walls, and slabs including bar size, lap length, spacing, and clearance.
  • Slab subgrade inspection including verification of graded stone thickness, observation of installation of vapor barrier and verify placement of wire welded fabric.
  • Monitor concrete construction including testing temperature, slump, mix duration, and air entrainment (when required) of the fresh concrete.
  • Perform laboratory tests, as required, including Proctors, gradation analysis, Atterberg limits, and compressive strength tests of concrete cylinders.
  • Monitor structural steel erection including column plumbness, bolted connections, visual checks of all welds, verifying welder certifications, and ultrasonic inspection of moment connections (if required).
  • Provide engineering services for project supervision, coordination, consultation, and reports. A final report will be provided at the conclusion of our work or at the client's request. The report will summarize our findings and test results, and it will be stamped by a Professional engineer.
